Supreme x Nike SB Air Trainer TW II

A while back in June, a sneak peek of the Supreme x Nike SB Air Trainer TW II was posted on Crooked Tongues. Thanks to the upcoming issue of Shoe Master, here’s another look at this beautiful collaboration sneaker. It looks as though that they will be available in white, blue, red and black colorways. No word on the release date yet but these will sure be another one of those sneakers that everyone will want their hands on.

Hope all is well with you, Streething is currently helping Nike to execute a very interesting project which is to customize and paint a 400% Be@rbrick involving the whole street and art culture, you are one of the selected artist we would love to work with, let me know if you are interested in doing so and these are some simple instructions from Nike -
1) The brief is simple - just customize the be@rbrick without blocking out the chevron (V) design on the front, or the Nike logo.
2) You will pick up the be@rbrick on 17th September and return them by 26th September
3) This is a joint effort therefore there's no payment but it's a great exposure as your work will be displayed at various Nike stores.

Kanye thrashes 50 Cent in first-day sales race

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Kanye West looks set to win the closely watched duel with rival rapper 50 Cent for the No. 1 slot on next week's U.S. pop album chart, according to preliminary sales data issued Wednesday.

West's "Graduation" sold an estimated 437,000 copies during its first day of release Tuesday, ahead of 310,000 for 50 Cent's "Curtis" and 107,000 for country star Kenny Chesney's "Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates," according to a new "Building Chart" devised by tracking firm Nielsen SoundScan.

The Building Chart gives an early look at how the race is shaping up for SoundScan's final charts, which post projected national sales each Wednesday morning, extrapolated from a panel of merchants representing more than 90% of the U.S. music market.

Some pundits project West will surpass 750,000 copies for the week, breaking the 2007 record of 623,000 copies held by rock band Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight." But West did better with his last album, 2005's "Late Registration," which debuted with 860,000 copies. 50 Cent also will fall far short of the 1.1 million start for his last album, 2005's "The Massacre."

解釋-潮童

其實我所指的潮童 , 不是單指其衣著外表 . 更深層的意思是指他們的心態.

說實在一點 , 本人對別人的衣著不感興趣 , 但對他們的心態卻感憐憫 . 其實潮童產生的因素非常多 . 但最根底的原因都是為了表現 , 突出自己 .

但他們選擇了錯誤的方法.............

很多年青人希望在人群中突出自己 , 他們選擇了跟隨潮流 , 希望能從中證明自己與人不同 , 是一個 " 潮人" , 但往往只會弄巧成拙 , 他們會跟著潮流購物 , 所費不非 , 人們捧什麼大浪褲 ,民族look時,他們又會跟 .人們捧什麼ape evisu他們力跟 , 人們捧lvc , rmc時他們又會力跟 , 跟得起的還可以被稱為"潮人" , 斷續每天在anytime 潮聖 , 在海旁show off 自己 . 跟不起的會怎樣? 便會淪為新一代"潮童 ".

潮童希望自己是人群中的"潮人" 之最 , 但可惜 , 抱有這目標的人太多 , 結果每個人也用大同小異的方法達到目標 , 結果一個又一個的倒模出現了 . 人們以為半夜三五成群坐在一起會受人注目 , 人們以為將千多元的漆皮ape sta 放在腳上會受人注目 , 人們以為v 字陰, 電爆頭會受人注目 .結果每個人也這樣做 , 令旺角街頭 , 尖咀海旁 , 銅記維園沖斥著眾多的"潮人" , 不但不能突出自己 , 反而令旁人厭倦 , 側目 . 久而久之他們會再降級 , 成為新一代"潮童" .

另外 , 一眾年青人已經被時下雜誌荼毒過深了 . 時下雜誌每集都會以"潮x 潮物"去介紹產品 , 潮黎潮去 , 長久以下便令年青人被牌子牽著銀包走 , 以為牌子等於潮流 , 等於人格 , 牌子成為一個人"潮唔潮" 既象徵 . 唔再理好唔好睇 , 總之將衣櫃入面最貴既衫褲一次crossover 上身 , 話之襯唔襯 , 就算每日同一個look唔洗衫都絕對頂得順 ! 追求super brand , 唔理值唔值 , 總之要比人知道自己係識牌子之士 ! "潮童" 就此形成了 .

其實 , 突出自己 , 一定要這樣嗎 ? 潮流每天也在變 , 你追得今天 , 追得到明天嗎? 當每人也在追潮流 , 浸沒有名牌世界 , 表現自己的世界中 . 你卻逆流而行,這樣才是突出 . 有自我風格 , 不隨波逐流 , 才是突出 !除非你是創造潮流之人 . 盲目追求潮流 , 追不起的只會成為新一代 " 潮童 " , 呼哀哉

"潮童" 是一個look , 一個思想 , 甚至是一種病態 . 因此請記住以為自己突出時 , 其實大把人都係gum , 只有堅持自我 , 真正與眾不同 , 才是突出 . 如果這樣去表現自己 , 才是真正的型人 , 一個浮誇得起的人 !

本人唔係型 , 不過一定唔會係潮童 ; 我都識好多牌子 , 不過洗唔洗比人知又係另一回事 , 會唔會哂幾千蚊去買件zip up褸又係另一回事.......................
